“This is a fun outing for anyone and everyone. You’ll learn quite a bit about chocolate- from regions to harvesting and processing. Then you will get to create your own chocolate bar. The best part, of course, is the tasting. Lots of good information while you enjoy that as well. Great for all!”

Adults learned tons of history, our young son was engaged as our tour guide Ignes asked him what he thought about various parts of the old town, plus, hello, doughnuts!!! Our guide also gave us recommendations on local restaurants and was so enjoyable. He was sensitive to the weather (cold and rainy!!) and made sure we had lots of places to stop under cover. “Our guide, Alec, was fantastic—a born story teller with a tremendous love for Scottish history —we were captivated as we wandered around the Royal Mile and its many historic sites. We learned so much and it was such fun. Unknown to Alec, however, this tour is described as 10 tastings of Edinburgh—but there were actually only three. For sure, though, you’ll love haggis by the time you finish, if not the “fish and chips” —actually fried, stuffed pizza at one apparently popular eatery, judging by the long lines. All things said, this tour was still a highlight for us, despite the crowds from Fringe.”
