But there isn't a lot of time to explore at the stops (hike etc). Would have liked the option to hike the old man of Storr instead of just taking pictures and moving on. The B&B had great food, but we weren't convinced of the cleanliness. Dirty towels were reused.”

Instead of highlands experience you must change it to taste of the highlands. “The trip was good and the guide/driver was fantastic. We wish we could spend a little bit more time at some of the stops. One of the hotels was terrible with the very very small window and very dirty sheet, ie, urine stain mark on the bedsheet. Had to ask the receptionist to provide another sheet to cover that. We also did not get the en-suite room in the second B&B. We did get a separate bathroom, but needed to travel across the common corridor. Better book the accommodation by yourself, not go through the travel agent.”
